NEWCASTLE’S FIST LAUNCH DEBUT EP + MUSIC VIDEO
.After three huge months in camp FIST, the time has come to put it all together into a bass-busting debut EP – Enter The FIST.
Featuring the band’s studio singles to-date, Enter The FIST is a massive collaboration between Brad Telfer Audio (Lemon Joe, Through It All, Linear), The DIY Recording Studio, and The Grove Studios (FIDLAR, DZ Deathrays, Birds of Tokyo).
The debut single ‘KA-BOOM (MTHRFCKR)’ peaked at #7 on the Hypeddit top 100 punk charts and secured extensive playlisting, radio airplay both at home and abroad, and glowing reviews on Triple J Unearthed boasting an average score of 4.5 stars. In January, the single was KA-toured across Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Central Coast and Newcastle.
The sophomore single ‘Dickhead’ debuted through The Australian Music Scene and peaked at #27, featuring extensively across Australian Community Radio and with playlisting of its own and launched live at the Lass O’Gowrie in February with music video premiere via The Rockpit.
The band’s new genre-fluid track ‘Venomous Touch’ is produced by industry veteran and long-term educator Mitchell Rose, of The DIY Recording Studios. The track is joined by a Cypress Hill inspired music video featuring Newcastle icon Super Hubert – debuted exclusively through Happy Magazine.
